Full memberships will be voted on by the membership at the next quarterly meeting after the applicant completes attendance requirements. Associate memberships will be voted on at the next club meeting after receipt of application and dues. An associate member has no attendance prerequisite. Associate members may not vote, nor will they be considered in any quorum. Two current members in good standing of the Western Irish Setter Club must sponsor both types of membership. Additionally, a new member (full) must agree to serve on a committee of their choice within their first year of membership. To retain full membership (each year), a member must attend at least two (2) meetings per year, or a combination of 1 meeting attended and participation / service on 1 committee of members choice.
